Stun-gun maker Taser International is advising police forces to avoid firing the devices at the chests of suspects which critics say is an admission they could cause heart attacks.  It appears that the Taser guns are not as safe as advertised and many humanitarian groups are opposed to the use of these devices for fear of the harm that they can cause.  In one of the most controversial cases in the US a man died after being shocked three times by a Taser.  If you or a family member has suffered serious personal injury from after being stunned by one of these devices you should seek legal advice as to your potential rights.
